Name:Neko Sandy
Active Times/Pace: EST. I generally am active in the late afternoon to late evening depending on if I am working my usual 1-5pm work from home job hours. I can be a night owl, though, so don't be surprised if a tag shows up really, REALLY late (as in "it's now early morning" late). Pacing-wise, I vary between fast and slow depending on if I am having issues with my vision, so it probably all evens out to medium.
Brackets/Prose: I can do either, no problem, though I tend to default to brackets for my own posts.
Offensive Subjects & Triggers to Avoid:
  • Cannibalism.
  • Super graphic descriptions of violence, death, corpses, and the like sprung on me with no warning. (I have an anxiety/panic disorder that can be triggered by such things.)

🦋 In Character

Physical Affection: Yes, but keep in mind that he is a king and was raised with the idea that kings don't show or accept affection in public.  That is how rumors and gossip get started.  As such, he will be more accepting of affection given in private even though he doesn't mind it.
Physical Violence: Yes, but please keep in mind Regis is a highly skilled fighter with a literal treasure trove of magical skills at his disposable. If you wish to do violence to him, be prepared for the full force of that to be turned on you. If you wish to do violence to someone he cares about, be prepared for the full force of that to be turned on you. If you wish to do violence to innocents, be prepared... You get the picture. He really prefers to avoid violence whenever necessary, though, and has no qualms about using his skill as a politician to do so.
Relationships:
  • Romantic:  No, he is happily married at this canon point.
  • Everything else: Yes, by all means.
NPC Interaction: Sure
Psychic & Psionic Information: Yes, feel free to use them on him, but while none of Regis' many canon abilities are really psychic in nature any psychic who tries to use skills on him will find he has unusually strong walls/barriers for one with no psychic skill. This is due to strong force of will, experience, and the potent magic that runs in his veins.  He is a master of using barrier/shielding magic and has applied the skills he has learned to defending and strengthening his own mind.
Magical Information: Yes, but on Regis' side there is so, SO much information since he is the father of a Final Fantasy protagonist at the prime of his power. Please see the ability section of his application for exact details.
Medical Information: Yes and here is a little medical information about him!
While the magic he uses draws away his life, he is not yet old enough to be feeling those effects. That will change as he progresses in his canon. Overuse of his magic can put him into a state referred to as "stasis." Reaching this point means his magic has been completely exhausted and results in him becoming unable to use any of said magic and to have great difficulty moving on his own. This condition will remain until his magic has the chance to recharge. Extreme "stasis" can result in unconsciousness rendering him completely helpless during what is likely a serious situation. Oops!
Offensive Subjects & Triggers Associated with This Character:
  • War and all its associated triggers including mentions of child soldiers: Regis' country is currently on the losing side of a very long war, and one of his inner circle, Cor Leonis, started fighting that war at far too young an age.
  • Violence and occasional mild gore: See the above, plus Regis is a highly trained fighter both physically and magically. Accidents may happen.
  • Discrimination toward immigrants: The current political status of Insomnia pits the natives of the city against the "immigrants" who have had to flee to the city after their homes in the rest of Lucis were lost.  Regis is caught in between the two sides trying desperately to keep his people from turning on each other when the real threat is Niflheim closing in on them.
  • Child Abuse (Mental). Not likely to come up in detail except to very close CR as it is head canon, but Regis and his father had a very bad relationship.  This was especially true when he was a child and not really aware that he had the right to be his own person.  As I have had Regis say about his father in the past, "My father may be remembered as an adequate king, but he will never be remembered as a good man."

🦋 Out Of Character

Backtagging: I will backtag forever as sometimes I can be a slow tagger due to my vision impairment. It is only right that I extend the same courtesy to anyone I am tagging with.
Threadhopping: Sure, if the situation warrants it.
Fourthwalling: I would prefer warning if this is going to happen, so please don't drop this on Regis ICly without reaching out to me first. Thank you!
Not Interested In: Shipping - this is both an IC and OOC preference at the moment because Regis is happily married at his current canon point and would not cheat on his wife nor would I enjoy exploring this kind of situation. Once he canon updates beyond her death, this may change.
Smut writing - While I have written it in the past, it's just not something I find myself enjoying at the moment. I prefer fade-to-black as an option should this come up.

🦋 IC Information

(CW: Mentions of violence, war, death of a spouse, and general death.)

Character Name: Regis Lucis Caelum CXIII
Age: 28
Canon: FFXV
Canon Point: Episode Ardyn
Character History: His Wiki, The Wiki for 'Episode Ardyn', & The Wiki for 'A King's Tale'
Canon Abilities: Oh boy, hang onto your hats. This is going to be long. (Limits discussed on the FAQ are included.)

Warping/Phasing: Warping is a short-range teleportational ability that allows the user to follow after a thrown object (often a weapon). The ability works on line of sight. During some fights in the game, Noctis is shown being able to warp through objects (like fences) so long as the line of sight is there, and in Kingsglaive, Nyx Ulric is able to warp into a rapidly closing elevator because he still had line of sight to the inside. Phasing allows a person to avoid an attack by 'sidestepping' it, leaving an after image behind. Thanks to 'Episode Ardyn' we know that Regis was very skilled with both abilities in his youth.

Magic - Curative Creation: Thanks to the magic granted to him, Regis is able to turn drinks into various curative potions. The strength and type of curative depends upon the amount of magic put into it. The type of drink also has some impact on the resulting potion, with drinks like tea, juice, and energy drinks being commonly used while things like water and alcohol are avoided. Curative strength is limited to Hi-potion level and below.

Magic - Elemental: Regis' magical skills also include being able to summon powerful lightning, fire, and frost spells. Unlike Noctis, he isn't shown as needing to store the spells in flasks before use nor does he need to recharge his power from nodes. The draw back is that the magic drains his life and repeated use of the stronger spells will very quickly exhaust him.

From what we see in Kingsglaive, Regis seems to favor using lightning and fire spells over frost spells. Episode Ardyn reinforces this as he exclusively uses lightning when it comes to elemental magic during his boss fight with Ardyn.

Magic - Protective: Regis is very skilled at creating protective shields that can block both physical and magical attacks. These shields can withstand a great deal of force from either type of attack. He can create various shapes and sizes of shields from those meant to protect just himself, to those large enough to protect a whole group, and even those large enough to completely divide a room as shown when he uses one to separate himself and General Glauca from Nyx Ulric and Lady Lunafreya. These barriers can be maintained while he is using other magic if necessary and also while he is mortally wounded as shown by how long that dividing barrier he put up lasted even after he took the fatal blow from Glacua's sword.

While Regis never uses the invisibility spell himself, the members of the Kingsglaive are shown using it in battle. As their magic comes from Regis himself, it is safe to assume this is a spell he has access to, though he would likely see it as too dishonorable to be used in fair combat. Now, if one of the Fae wanted to "remind" him he can use the spell to accomplish XYZ goal or mission, they are most welcome to do so.

Armiger/Royal Arms: Armiger (storage space): As a storage space, the Armiger is basically Eos' version of hammerspace. While it can't hold anything living due to the fact all that goes into it enters stasis, almost anything else can be stored up to a reasonable size. It also serves as storage for the Royal Arms that each of Lucis' kings gather and make use of. While Regis is the 113th king of the line, there are only a few whose locations are still known. These weapons can only be wielded and properly used by the royal family. Summoned together the Royal Arms are used in tandem to attack. This attack is also referred to as the Armiger.

Per discussion on the FAQ, the Armiger's storage space is limited to 9 slots plus the Royal Arms.

Ring of the Lucii: While in his possession, the Ring of the Lucii gives Regis access to the following spells in addition to the magic he can already use:
  • Death: Drains an enemy's health, slows them, and if fully applied, can instantly KO them and recover health for the wielder.
  • Holy: Everyone's favorite top-tier light spell.
  • Alterna: Tears open the very fabric of reality in order to send an enemy on a one way trip to somewhere not here.
Note: Death and Alterna would likely need some kind of nerfing, but it shouldn't be an issue because...Points down to the Fae Court Section.

As the spirits of the past Kings and Queens of Lucis reside within the ring, Regis can speak to them and they can speak back to him should they desire to. Due to being in this new, highly magical setting, there may be "bad reception" at times. As the Lucii are literally spirits of the dead, anyone who can sense death or the dead will be able to sense them.

Ability Sharing: Should he choose to, Regis can share several of his abilities with others including allowing their use of his elemental and protective magics, warping, and access to the Armiger as a storage space. The more people he shares with, though, the more strain is put on his body.

Please let me know if there is any ability you believe needs adjustment/nerfing that I missed asking about!

Inventory:

On his person:
  • His usual king's raiment minus the cloak. (It's in the Armiger.)
  • The Ring of the Lucii on his right hand.
  • His wedding band on his left hand.
In the Armiger:
  1. The cloak to his raiment.
  2. His crown.
  3. The Sword of the Father. (Non-Royal Arms Version - At this canon point, it is just a normal sword he can channel his powers through, and as such, would not be counted among the Royal Arms.)
  4. An emergency Hi-Potion.
  5. Another emergency Hi-Potion. (This one put there by Clarus because he KNOWS Regis.)
  6. A file Cor threw in there and forgot about (and which had to eventually be replaced).
  7. His tablet/phone. (As he was communicating with Clarus just before going out to face Ardyn.)
  8. A slice of cake from his favorite bakery. (Cor loves slipping him sweet things through the Armiger just to spite Clarus. Regis hasn't found this one yet!)
  9. It's...empty! (Because, lets face it, it's going to take him all of like five minutes to start throwing his Leaf in there, and I don't want him to figure out the Armiger space has been limited right away.)

🦋 Personality

Option 1: Answer the following questions. Elaborate on the answer, especially your characters thoughts and feelings surrounding the answer. For Canon Characters, you can choose four questions. Keep the word count to 150-400 per question.

1.) Has your character always believed in magic? Do they have something influencing their perspective on the supernatural/metaphysical/spiritual from their past? How do they feel about magic?

To answer these questions, let's first look at the Lucis Caelum family as a whole. They are the quintessential "magical" family that is found in many fantasy stories. They were given potent magical abilities so that they could better fulfill their divine-given duty; they are the main "stars" of the greatest Prophecy known in their world; they-tragically-pay a price for their power but do so willingly to help protect their people.

With all of this, it would be foolish for Regis not to believe in magic. Even if he somehow still denied it all, he would not be able to deny the force that runs through his veins and takes a toll on his body when he uses it. In fact, Regis does not deny it. He has never thought of denying it as it is as much a part of his life as eating and breathing are; however because of the price he and his family have to pay for that power (FFXV is a fantasy based on reality after all), his view of it is that it is a double-edged sword. He and his family can and have done miraculous things to save and protect their people with it. They have killed dangerous monsters, sealed away malevolent daemons, and quieted raging beasts, but it has all been at the expense of their own families and lives

As if the physical price they pay is not enough, there is a further price that comes in the form of those who want their power for their own. That is the reason they are at war with Niflheim currently--a war that has cost countless lives and left even more people without a home. It causes great frustration and anger to Regis that the very power that lets them do so many great things is the cause of so much tragedy for innocents, and yet, that power is not enough to stop the very thing it started.

A few years after his current canon point, Regis will add one more word to the list he uses to describe magic and that word is "bittersweet." He has created healing items strong enough to heal horrible injuries and even to bring the dead back to life in certain circumstances, and yet, none of his healing magic will be able to stop his beloved wife from dying only a short time after their birth of their first child.

2.) What mythological creature would your character most like to be? Which do they identify with? Which would they dread being? Feel free to use our Bestiary for reference.

In FFXV, Carbuncle is known as a Messenger of the Astrals, a powerful being--despite the adorable package--who is a protector with strong healing powers. While the carbuncle of the Fae world would not be the same, Regis would still feel a great affinity and respect for it. In fact, he would be absolutely delighted if he was changed into a carbuncle form. Think little kid getting granted a great wish levels of delighted. Unlike some people who may have drifted away from belief in getting assistance from the Astrals and their Messengers, it is obvious that Regis still believes in them. When Noctis was three, he gave his son a little statue of Carbuncle to watch over him. When Noctis was hurt by the Marilith at age eight, Regis made sure that Carbuncle statue remained at Noctis' bedside hoping that the Messenger would lead his deeply unconscious son back to him. In the end, though Regis doesn't know, his hopes worked. Carbuncle did find Noctis and led him back. In fact, Carbuncle becomes Noctis' protector during the game, though no one besides Noctis can see him. One of the reasons that Regis feels so akin to the little Messenger may well be that he also specializes in healing and protective magic. He can use a sword and sling magic with the best of them, but his true magical skill and interest lies in those things that let him heal and protect others just like Carbuncle does.

The creature that Regis would most loathe to become at this canon point would be an Afrit. While they can have different forms, most of those forms would be close enough to that of the Astral Ifrit--the being who is currently rampaging through and burning down his city--that he would be enraged to be forced into the form as he would see it as a taunt. Not only would it anger him greatly, it would remind him of how guilty he feels for having failed to stop the mysterious attacker who seems to be controlling said fallen Astral. His city is being destroyed and its defenders and citizens are being slaughtered by the hundreds and there is, despite his best efforts, seemingly nothing he can do about it. He's helpless and he hates being helpless.

Mentally, the impact of being in such a form would be even worse if he was actually just "riding along" with the Afrit and not be able to do anything to stop it from hurting others or destroying their homes.

3.) If your character could ask for one wish, and it's going to be magically granted without any consequence, what will it be and why?

If we look at Regis' personality over all of the sources of information about FFXV--from the myriad of factoids scattered here and there in books, playing guides etc. to Kingsglaive and the game itself--his biggest wish would obviously be to find a way to save Lucis and Eos without it costing his son's life. Though he is proud of the duty their line carries, all he has ever wanted for Noctis was a normal, happy life. He even allowed Noctis to have his own apartment, go to a normal school, and hold a normal job to facilitate this--all things that are unprecedented for a crown-prince and all things that cause people to criticized Regis for spoiling him. Regis doesn't care about their complaints, though, because he loves his son so much. Plus, he also knows something they don't: his beloved son will one day give his life to save all of Eos.

Focusing down to the canon point Regis will be coming into the game at, though, his wish will be different because he does not yet have a son. He wants one, but he and Aulea have not gotten to that point yet, very likely because of all the time Regis (and likely Aulea as well) have to spend running a country at war. It is this very thing that makes up his wish. He's grown up with the country at war; he's watched his father burn himself out trying to find a way to end the war; now, the war is his responsibility and things aren't exactly going well. As a result, Regis' greatest wish would be to find a way to end the war so that his country, his people, and his family can once again live in peace. He wants to have a child--or children if he and Aulea are so blessed--and he wants to be able to raise that child to be strong, compassionate, and ready to take over for him when the time comes. He wants that child to become a courageous and wise ruler who cares for Lucis the same way he does and is unafraid to do what they believe is best for the country.

4.) If there's one person your character would follow to another realm, who would it be and why? If there's no one, state that and explain why.

There are actually several people who Regis would trust enough to follow and they range from his wife, Aulea, to his life-long sworn protector, Clarus, and even to his young, brash, and fearless friend, Cor. When it came time to go to that realm, though, while he trusts them all enough to lead him, he would, in fact, not let them lead. This has nothing to do with arrogance or ego as it would be easy to assume. Instead it is because, of those closest to him, as the king, he is the one meant to lead. Not only is it his duty--and it's a duty he has never shied away from--it is something that he is greatly skilled at. His whole life has involved training to prepare him to be able to lead both in court and on the battlefield.

One of the quotes people remember most from Regis is this:

One cannot lead by standing still. A king pushes onward always, accepting the consequences and never looking back.

I feel this really sums up his feelings on the role of a leader and on his role as leader. Those he has around him all have skills to support him, but in the end, he is the one taking the risk and leading the charge forward.

Regis holds a view toward leadership that many other rulers don't, though, and that is that he is willing to lead by committee. He has surrounded himself with those who are willing to get into his face and tell him he is wrong despite the fact he is king. In addition to that, he actually values their opinions and doesn't just blow them off. An example of this is that the whole reason Regis officially brought Cor into his retinue was because the then 15-year-old was brave enough to get into his face and call him a coward.

So, in the end, perhaps Regis would not so much lead into this new realm, but instead, approach it with his most trusted allies standing right by his side.

Insert strains of "Stand By Me" here.

CHARACTER INFO

❥ Name: Regis Lucis Caelum CXIII
❥ Canon: Final Fantasy XV
❥ Canon Point: The end of Episode: Ardyn (Age 28)
❥ Fandom OC Approval: N/A

❥ History: His Wiki, The Wiki for 'Episode Ardyn', & The Wiki for 'A King's Tale'
❥ CRAU?: N/A

❥ Personality:

Special Note: FFXV was created as a expansive universe which means that information on the events and characters is spread out across multiple kinds of media from the game itself, to a movie, VR platform, novels, artbooks etc. As a result, piecing together some parts of a character's personality/life can be difficult. This is the case for Regis' early life, though the release of 'Episode Ardyn' has helped cement a great deal of his youth. Even with this, I still have to draw from several sources to round out his character, so if there is something you need more examples of/better sourcing for, please let me know.

Dutiful/Controlled:

Born as the 113th of his line, a lot is placed upon Regis' shoulders from the very beginning. The unsettled status of Eos' political climate aside, the Lucis Caelum line has been tasked from their very beginnings with the protection of the Crystal until the day comes for the Prophecy to be fulfilled. They are allowed to make use of the Crystal's magic, but considering that magic eats away at their very lives, it has to be handled with care and control lest they burn themselves out too quickly. Fortunately, control is something that always has come naturally to Regis, even when cruelly goaded. Despite how quickly Ardyn is cutting down both the Crownsguard and the Royal Guard during his attack in 'Episode Ardyn,' Regis remains calm, taking in updates from those who have them and planning how to stop the rampage. It is his duty to protect both his people and the Crystal, and he cannot do that if he lets his emotions get the best of him. It is only once Ardyn has defeated him that we see his mask crack completely as he laments the fact that he has failed at this very critical task.

Protective/Self-Sacrificing:

As mentioned above, the magic Lucian royals wield comes with a heavy price. Even so, Regis doesn't hesitate to take up the mantle of king when his father dies. He puts on the ring and lets the burden of powering the Wall fall upon on his shoulders. It doesn't matter the drain will cause him to age more quickly than he should or that it shortens his life. It doesn't matter that he just saw the very same power kill his father. The Wall is needed to protect Insomnia and Lucis' people from both Niflheim's attacks and the growing daemon threat, and so he will see it remain standing no matter the cost to himself. This is a task he takes up willingly, just as he willingly goes out alone to face Ardyn who is rampaging through the city with the god of fire under his control. With Imperial forces attacking outside the Wall and Ardyn attacking from within, Regis is their last defense and he plans to stand as that last line of defense without fail no matter what the cost to himself.

Idealistic/Optimism:

Later in life, Regis will lose much of his optimistic and idealistic nature, both things all but ground out of him by tragedy after tragedy--his wife's early death, his son being proclaimed the Chosen King, the Marilith attack that nearly kills Noctis, the invasion of Tenebrae and all that comes with it--but at this canon point, those two traits are still strong within him. He doesn't question that he will be able to stop Ardyn because he has to in order to keep his people safe. There is no other acceptable outcome. He shows this very same mindset in the story he tells about one of his adventures to Noctis in "A King's Tale." Mysterious crystals, overwhelming numbers of monsters, and even a giant, sassy talking octopus daemon don't stop he and his retinue. They may not know the true nature of the threat or even the full powers of the daemons involved, but they are confident in their ability to deal with whatever it is. Of course, Regis is telling this to Noctis as a bedtime story and has full permission to exaggerate, but it is heavily implied in FFXV: Comrades that the adventure and battle with Ultros (said sassy talking octopus daemon) did happen in some form, an implication backed up by Ultros' later appearance in Kingsglaive.

Reckless/Mischievous:

Even with all the holes in the FFXV storyline, we know of two times Regis wrecked/seriously damaged the Regalia while driving it--first when he and his retinue were setting out on their road trip, and second when he heard that his wife had gone into labor. Eventually, he will learn to take more care, but at this point there are still times when his excitement gets the best of him, despite all of his self-control. As a result, he does not do things as carefully as he should, leading to damaged vehicles, damaged buildings, and friends who will never let him touch a steering wheel again. It's for his own safety, of course.

'A King's Tale' also shows us that Regis was fond of bad jokes and teasing his friends from a young age as he tells of jokes made between them, but also trades witty remarks with Noctis when his son comments on the story. (Did you die? I'm here telling the story, aren't I?) He, for better or worse, was a master of the 'dad joke' long before he ever became one.

VS Elder Self in Kingsglaive:

Most of what we see of Regis comes at the beginning of FFXV, and more importantly, Kingsglaive as it tells the story of the Fall of Insomnia and his death. While the first two sets of traits I mention above are still very easy to see in Regis at this time (he is now 50, instead of a youthful 28), the last two sets of traits are mostly gone, worn away by the harsh realities and losses he's had to face over the years. He has become a patient, observant, and knowledgeable king, one who recognizes quickly that the treaty signing is nothing but a trap and does his best to protect both his people and his loved ones from what is to come. He does this without thought of himself, wondering only briefly with Clarus the night before if people will one day understand why they are doing what they are. However, there is no place for idealism in his plans now. He knows he won't survive the trap being sprung, but he faces his coming death with his head held high, willing to do what he must so that the future can be passed to those who deserve to see it. This self-sacrificial, protective final act shows that despite the difference the years have made, the young king who once fought a giant daemon octopus to protect his people is very much the same king who faces down General Glauca and the Empire, only now said king is fighting to protect more than just his people or just his son; he is fighting to give all of Eos a chance to see the dawn arrive once more.

❥ Abilities: (When even bullet points don't make it all that much shorter...)

Magical:

Warping/Phasing: Warping is a short-range teleportational ability that allows the user to follow after a thrown object (often a weapon). The ability works on line of sight and doesn't allow passage through a solid object.

Magic - Elemental: Regis' magical skills also include being able to summon powerful lightning, fire and frost spells. Unlike Noctis, he isn't shown as needing to store the spells in flasks before use nor does he need to recharge his power from nodes. The draw back is that the magic drains his life and repeated use of the stronger spells will very quickly exhaust him.

From what we see in Kingsglaive, Regis seems to favor using fire and lightning spells over frost spells.

These barriers can be maintained while he is using other magic if necessary and also while he is mortally wounded as shown by how long the dividing barrier he put up lasted even after he took the fatal blow from Glacua's sword.

While Regis never uses the invisibility spell himself, the members of the Glaive are shown using it in battle. As their magic comes from Regis himself, it is safe to assume this is a spell he has access to, though he would likely see it as too dishonorable to be used in fair combat.

See Extras section for nerfs/limitations on the Armiger.

The Ring of the Lucii is so named because it houses the spirits of the past rulers of Lucis. Aside from when they leave the ring to help Noctis fulfill the Prophecy at the end of the game, there is one time that we see one of them leave the ring and that is when Somnus answers Ardyn's challenge once Regis has been knocked unconscious during 'Episode Ardyn.' It is assumed this is something that would only happen in extreme life or death situations, as had Somnus not answered, Ardyn would have killed Regis and ended the line before the Chosen King could be born.

In Kingsglaive, Nyx Ulric is shown conversing with the Kings of Yore once he puts on the ring which backs the idea that those wearing the ring can seek wisdom or assistance from them with the Lucii being more or less willing to cooperate depending on how much right the person has to wear the ring.

Finally, should someone attempt to wear the ring who doesn't have a blood link to the Lucian royal line and who doesn't successfully bargain with the Lucii to use their power, they will find themselves burned to a crisped very quickly and painfully. Even those who bargain successfully do not walk away without heavy cost. Ignis Scientia lost his vision in exchange for the use of the ring's power, and Nyx Ulric traded his life a few hours after he made his own deal with the Lucii.

Needless to say, that ring will not be leaving Regis' hand if he has any say in the matter!

See Extras section for nerfs/limitations on the Ring of the Lucii.

Ability Sharing: Should he choose to, Regis can share several of his abilities with others including allowing their use of his elemental and protective magics, warping, and access to the Armiger as a storage space. The more people he shares with, though, the more strain is put on his body.

Mundane:
  • Royal Upbringing
  • Political Training (Man's got a KILLER poker face, when he's not rolling his eyes in exasperation.)
  • Scholarship - with a focus on Lucian history and the prophecy.
  • Languages - he knows quite a few not just because of his position, but because he genuinely enjoys learning them and the cultures associated with them. (Head canon based on his position and the fact that he shows interest in even the smallest parts of his kingdom. For example, when Galahd--a small set of islands--was attacked by the Empire, not only did he send soldiers to fight, he himself went as part of the fighting force.)
  • Combat Experience
  • Weapon's Training - various including swords, spears, and shields.
  • Basic Field First Aid - because sometimes you still need it even when you can make your own curatives.

❥ Extras:

Would you like your characters abilities nerfed? What would you like them to lose or how will it be cut down?
  • Armiger (Storage): Per discussion on the FAQ, it is limited to 10 slots on arrival, can only hold non-organic items, and will be empty of all Royal Arms.
  • Ring of the Lucii: Honestly, I have no idea why he would be using them in this game, so why don't we just have the Death and Alterna spells stripped off the ring?
  • Anything else? If you feel any of the rest of his abilities are game-breaking enough to need limitation/nerfing, please let me know as I have no issue limiting them.

Did your character bring anything along (limit 3 items) with them?
  1. The Ring of the Lucii (magical, weapon)
  2. The Sword of the Father (weapon, Non-Royal Arms version. It's just his favored sword at this canon point, no magical abilities aside from what he channels through it.)
  3. 1 Hi-Elixir (magical. Restores full HP & full MP, or more accurately for the game setting, restores all wounds aside from those that would be fatal and restores all magical energy)

Which god will they choose to support?
Ainea, please!
