[Regis is grinning as he speaks. Come on, Gladio. If you are going to go, you have got to go all the way.

When the young shield trails of, Regis gives him a curious look.]

[Gladio blinked... then burst out laughing. He hadn't caught on to what he was doing but having missed it he was disappointed in himself. But at least Regis had realised and finished it for him.

It made it all the easier to step up to him and give the older man a big hug!

He wrapped his arms around him, near lifting him off of his feet as he did, grinning all the while.]

This! I owe you it from the other night.

[Regis lets out a sound of surprise as Gladio's action catches him completely off guard. One minute the young shield is laughing and then the next the young king is in the air! Once Regis manages to get his arms settled so he's not failing to flail in the way one only can when they have been caught in a surprise bear hug, he breaks out laughing.

Oh, how long has it been since someone did this to him? Too long. Too long! And he loves it!]

[Gladio would be honest, he wasn't entirely sure he would be allowed to do this. This was The King. His dad would have shit a brick if he'd known he was doing this. But Regis had told him that here he was just himself. Just Regis. Just a friend. And as a friend, who had been kind to him, Gladio wanted to show his appreciation in the best way he knew how. Sweet things and a great, big hug.

The fact Regis was laughing immediately settled Gladio's mind and put to sleep his doubts. So, with the laughter ringing in his ears, Gladio tightened his hold a bit and gave a bit of a spin on top of it, laughing right along with Regis.]
