I am doing well and I hope you are too. Of course, you can use the house. There has not been much cause to celebrate here recently. This is a perfect chance to fix that.

I always have time to speak with you, but I am at the shop right now, not at home. Hopefully that is not a problem?

I don't believe it will be a problem, but let me check.

[ She switches to video, showcasing Hythlo in the middle of the living room floor playing with brightly coloured toddler toys. She calls out Hythlo's name, catching his attention. ]

Do you want to go visit Grandda at his shop?

[ As soon as the word grandda comes out of her mouth, the not-so-little amaro leaps up from his spot, feathers poofing in excitement. He makes what can only be described as delighted vocalizations, and continues chattering on excitedly while he runs to gather up his scarf and vest, eventually bringing it to Era and wiggling impatiently for her to dress him.

[There is a short pause before Regis replies, namely because he has to stop laughing at how cute Hythlo's reaction is. Oh, but it warms his heart to see the excitement!]

It is not fair that you switched back to text. You didn't let him see how happy his reaction made me!

I will get some treats out and await your arrival.

Then he would never have stilled long enough for me to dress him!

We shall see you in a quarter bell, unless the weather delays us.

[ The weather doesn't delay them, but they arrive a few minutes late regardless after a pair of natives stops to compliment Hythlodaeus on his scarf.

Needless to say, by the time Era arrives her amaro is more than a little eager. Having forgotten what they were doing in the first place means the moment he sees the shop that he is filled with renewed excitement for the visit, and Hythlo makes sure this excitement is audible as he all but barges through the door.

Era knows no reminders to 'be good!' will work in this moment, and so she just hopes her amaro remembers not to tackle Regis in greeting. ]

[The tackle is a near thing, but is fortunately avoided since Regis is close enough to one of the couches that he can brace himself against the arm when he hears his guests arrive. He even manages to dismiss the tray he had been moving snacks from back to the Armiger in time so it doesn't clatter to the floor.

In between giving the excited chick pats and cuddles, he gives Era a welcoming smile. Hello there! Just give him a few moments to free himself and you will get a hug as well.]
