[Regis can't help but breathe a sigh of contentment when Cor tucks him against his chest. There is something wonderfully normal about the protected and cherished feeling it produces. It's not like he was able to ever do anything like this either before or after he and Aulea married. Not in public anyway. There were always too many eyes on them looking for behavior that wasn't 'appropriate' for one in the royal family. Here though, while those from Eos still look to him as king, the natives and the others who have been brought here see him as just another man. The feeling is more intoxicating than any kind of alcohol and when it hits, Regis never wants the moment to end. It must of course, so it is no surprise when Cor finally pulls away.

Though, maybe it doesn't have to end quite yet.

There is a hazy, contented look in Regis' eyes that almost hides the mischief that is also there. He takes one step back toward Cor, leaning over to whisper in his ear while his fingers come up to brush against his friend's jawline.]
